What can I do to inform people that I have no idea when the next GAFBMP is?
If you are looking for an event or you want to host one, please contact the personnel listed HERE to find out information. I know of NO events in the foreseeable future.
Once I get event information, I'll post to the AKO / DKO files at the following location and here on this website.

Fort Leonard Wood, MO 19-22 June 2009, Engineer BOLC class A03-09 received 24 Badges
Columbus, OH 1-3 May 2009, Recruiting Battalion 37 new Badge Holders
Las Vegas, NV 25-26 April 2009, University of Nevada 60 participated 45 were successful
Bloomington, IN 20-22 February 2009 University of Indiana ROTC 323 participated 269 were successful
Albany, NY, 15-17 October 2008
Fort Stewart, GA, 8-10 October 2008 organized by 3d ID NCO Academy, 100% success rate
Fort McCoy, WI 25-28 September is now history
Bloomington, IN in mid February 2008 was another success. 210 Soldiers participated and 160 were successful
Ohio in early February 2008 produced 65 new GAFBMP award holders
Fort McCoy, WI October 2007 was declared a success. 60 Soldiers participated and 56 were successful.
German Sergeant Major Karl-Heinz Grenzebach (who works at the Liaison office at Fort Knox, KY) keeps me informed of all GAFBMP's in the USA. So, please add this page your favorites (link at top of this page) and check back periodically.
